THE ROLE

👀 We’re seeking a Brand & Content Lead to craft and execute our communications strategy, amplify our brand, and engage with our growing network of investors and founders. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our General Partners, portfolio companies, and broader community.

If you’re passionate about storytelling, can handle some chaos and thrive in fast-paced environments this role is for you.

You possess some knowledge and experience in communication, brand, platform, content management from a startup and/or a venture capital fund, including digital and social media platforms. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can simultaneously handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Our dream candidate can work remotely but lives close to Malmö and preferably spends 2-3 times/week at our office in Malmö, where our HQ is located. We are also open for 100% remote work.

Finally, with your wonderful energy and proactive, innovative mindset, you can identify new opportunities for improvement and drive change forward! Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent, particularly in English, with a keen eye for details. You are candid, fun to work with, and, most importantly, you care about people and our planet. 🍀 

SOME AREAS YOU WILL TAKE PART IN

• Shape & Own Our Communications Strategy – Develop and execute campaigns that position Pale blue dot as a top European fund.
• Lead Content Creation – Manage our Substack newsletter, write blog posts, and craft compelling portfolio company announcements on relevant platforms.
• Amplify Our Presence – Maintain and grow our communication channels, including LinkedIn, X, and other key platforms.
•  Improve and maintain the Pale blue dot brand identity and positioning across all touchpoints and improve our brand voice to ensure consistency on all marketing channels.
• Build & Engage Our Community – Maintain and expand our network of investors, founders, and partners.
• Collaborate across the Ecosystem—Work with the team, plan and execute events. For example,  identify and organize dinners/events and opportunities for us to interact with VC and startup opportunities.
• Experiment & Iterate – Think outside the box, test new approaches, and continuously refine our communication efforts.
  
  

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF YOU ARE/HAVE

• Have a few years of experience in communications, brand, community, or platform roles —ideally within a VC firm and/or early-stage startup.
• Are a natural storyteller who can distill complex ideas into engaging, clear, and concise messages.
• Are comfortable navigating uncertainty and taking initiative in a fast-moving environment.
• Thrive to work remotely, but could consider moving or traveling to Malmö often.
• Have strong communication skills and can confidently engage with external audiences.
• Are a kind, collaborative team player who cares deeply about our planet.
• Are tech-savvy and comfortable working with modern collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Notion.
