The role

We are looking for someone to lead operations at the fund. The short version: you make sure the machinery behind a great VC firm not only works but is optimized, and we are building a stronger back office to help us build a leading venture fund.

The role is broad, and it sits close to the partners. In practice, it covers four areas:

Transactions and legal process.
Term sheets, cap table, and ownership reviews, running due diligence workstreams, either in-house legal or managing external counsel, negotiating long-form docs, and keeping our templates and learnings library in order.

Investor relations and fundraising operations.
Helping out with running fundraising end-to-end, DDQs and PPM upkeep, data rooms, investor onboarding, day-to-day LP requests, LPAC, and AGM delivery.

Portfolio and investment team tooling.
Portfolio KPI tracking, fund performance metrics, reserve modeling and pacing, CRM hygiene, and the internal reporting cadence that keeps everyone looking at the same numbers.

Firm admin, systems and process.
Tech stack, vendors, contracts and insurance, entity administration and filings, and the SOPs that let a small team operate like a much bigger one.

What we are looking for

Some experience at a VC fund or knowledge of how a VC fund runs is required. You have ideally worked inside a fund, and you know how one is actually run, from term sheet to capital calls to LP report. This is the one thing we are not flexible on.

A legal background or hands-on legal experience is a strong plus. Much of this role is legal process ownership: scoping the work, running counsel, and knowing when something needs a lawyer and when it does not. If you are a lawyer who moved into operations, or an operator who has done the legal heavy lifting at a fund, we want to hear from you.

Beyond that, we are looking for someone who is comfortable being the person things route through, who builds processes without turning the firm into a bureaucracy, and who is happy switching between a data room and a spreadsheet.

A note on title and seniority

We are keeping this deliberately open. We are interested in a wide range of profiles: Head of Operations/Legal, Director of Operations, VP Operations, COO, and fund counsel who has grown into operations. Seniority can range from a strong senior operator to someone on partner-track.

Practical

Remote within Europe works for us. Our office is in Malmö and we do like seeing each other, so expect some travel. If you are based closeby and come travel to the office that’s great as well. We can also help with relocation for the right candidate. English is our working language.
